What this site does not do

This site carries no advertising, no tracking pixels and no tag manager. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Its typefaces are served from this domain, so loading them does not contact an additional font provider. Two things involve Cloudflare: the site is delivered by Cloudflare, which necessarily sees the connection, and it uses Cloudflare’s analytics to count visits. Both are described below.

Hosting

The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. To serve and protect the site, Cloudflare processes connection data including your IP address, the time of the request, the pages requested, and browser and device information. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare's security features may use strictly necessary cookies or comparable technologies; these are exempt from consent under § 25(2) TDDDG. Processing takes place in part in the United States under the data-protection terms of Cloudflare's customer agreement, which incorporate the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Visitor measurement

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and to measure how quickly pages load. Each page loads a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com, a Cloudflare domain, which reports the address of the page viewed, the page you arrived from, basic information about your browser and device, and timing measurements. The report is sent to this domain.

This measurement sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. As with any request your browser makes, Cloudflare receives your IP address at the network level. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics “does not collect or use your visitors’ personal data”. We do not combine what it reports with anything else, and it does not identify you to us: we see counts and trends, not people. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site is reached and whether it works properly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Because this measurement neither stores information on your device nor reads information from it, we rely on § 25(2) TDDDG rather than on your consent. Correspondence

If you write to contact@alexandrayangel.com, we process your address, your message and any attachments in order to reply and, where relevant, to discuss engagements. Depending on the enquiry, the legal basis is steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Giving us personal data is voluntary; without a return address and enough detail about your enquiry, however, we cannot answer it. Mail sent to this address is routed by Cloudflare, Inc. and delivered to a Gmail mailbox at Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Personal data may be processed outside the EEA in the course of this; the European Commission's standard contractual clauses may apply to those transfers. Messages are kept for as long as the correspondence or engagement requires, and thereafter for any period a statutory retention duty applies.

Video

Audio recordings on this site are hosted here and play without any third-party service. YouTube videos load only when you choose to play them. At that point your browser connects to YouTube, operated by Google Ireland Limited, which may process your IP address and other connection data and may store information on your device. The player uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which limits but does not prevent this. So long as you do not start a video, no connection to YouTube is made. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Links to other sites

Links to Instagram, YouTube and Operabase open those providers' own sites, which are outside our control and subject to their own privacy practices.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, its correction or erasure, or restriction of processing, and you may request a copy in a portable format. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any of these, write to the address above.

Right to object: where we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interests, you have the right to object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to complain to a data-protection supervisory authority. The authority competent for us is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.

Automated decisions

This site makes no automated decisions about you and builds no profiles.

Accessibility

This site is built to work with a keyboard, with assistive technology, and at different screen sizes and zoom levels. Every control, including the audio player and its seek bar, can be operated from the keyboard; the page structure uses headings and landmarks; images carry text alternatives; and the system setting for reduced motion is respected.

Two gaps are known. The videos hosted on YouTube may not carry captions, and the PDFs offered for download have not been checked against accessibility standards. If either prevents you from reaching something, write to contact@alexandrayangel.com and we will supply the material in another form.

This statement describes the site as it stands rather than claiming conformity with a particular standard. It was last reviewed in October 2026.
